Love's Closet
April 30th was the Grand Opening for our charge's newest outreach ministry - Love's Closet. With soaring gas prices and an unsteady economy, many from our charge saw this as an incredible opportunity to help some of our neighbors in need. The outreach is being held in the Palmer Building off of West Market Street. Those in attendance were able to select clothing items and were also the recipients of personal hygiene items such as shampoo, deodorant, laundry detergent, and toys. Several volunteers from the church helped to make their own detergents and cleaners at an extreme low cost. The times are 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Please pray for us and especially for those who are in need physically as well as spiritually.
The next Love's Closet date is Saturday February 25th.
Our Ash Wednesday Service will be held Wednesday February 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Come to find the kind of fast God expects from you!!!

This study will challenge participants to be the salt and light in our Christian walk. Many believe that Christianity today is a far cry from what Jesus intented. Some Christians can be seen as judgmental, hypocritical, and unloving. Take advantage of this study to grow in your faith and relationships with Christian brothers and sisters.
The 5 Love Languages
Class 3 - Thursday evenings at Rick and Angie Marshalls - beginning March 1st
Each of us is uniquely equipped to give and receive love in different ways. Understanding our love language and the language of our spouse can richly enhance relationships. Engaged couples and married couples are encouraged to join this Christian Lenten Study.

This musical explores two families from the book of Genesis. Act I visits the events of Adam, Eve, Cain, and Abel and Act II explores the events in the life of Noah.
